    Bulgaria is a picturesque small country situated in south-eastern Europe. It occupies the north-eastern part of the Balkan Peninsula.

Also listed by UNESCO is the Pirin National Park. This magnificent landscape is made up of old forests, a rich variety of flora and fauna, mineral springs and offers a perfect opportunity for skiing as the alpine peaks rise above 2500m high.
